About Your Instructor: Wendy Alane Wright
Acting Business Coach | Talent Manager | Acting Teacher
Wendy Alane Wright is a respected acting coach and former owner of the LA Acting School, where she trained hundreds of young and professional actors over the years. She was the head acting coach at the school and is proud to have trained Isaac Arellanes, who became the first American Indian ever nominated for an Emmy Award and has since gone on to be a series regular—twice.
Wendy has an extensive background in both teaching and performance. She taught on-camera acting, scene study, and commercial techniques for many years alongside casting director Judy Elkins. Her teaching career also includes teaching acting at the GATE program at La Cañada High School and Middle School, as well as all four elementary schools in the La Cañada Unified School District.
She is also the former owner of Talent Training and Performance Studios in La Cañada which taught scene study, on camera technique and improv.
Wendy is classically trained, having studied theater in college and attended the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, where she deepened her understanding of method acting and emotional truth in performance.
With decades of experience in the industry, Wendy brings practical insight, a sharp eye for talent, and a deep passion for guiding actors to their full potential—both on stage and on camera.
